these are the...
THINGS I SHOULD DO BEFORE I DIE...
(and i hope its not too soon)
1. set foot on a snow
2. ride a western steam train. (ala Harry Potter) or ride a balloon
3. do an oil painting
4. meet just one hollywood star, or visit just one hollywood set
5. cross country road trip
6. own a saltwater aquarium; fishes and corals (but I heard they're nocturnal, so i might cross this one out)
7. drink water from a real well
8. have sex with an African (this one's a joke! haha!)
the list goes on...i'll update if something new pops out!

bye bye tigger!
i just read the news that Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger in Winnie The Pooh, died today at the age of 82. sniff. so sad. it would be hard for walt disney to find a replacement. How could a voice, so distinct and original, be replaced by another man's voice? i bet it wouldn't be exactly the same.
it has come to my mind that these talented people are very crucial in making an animation come alive... hmmm... what if the animated series, "The Simpsons" loses the person behind marge's voice, or homer's? who will replace them? its really hard to find another person who can speak exactly like marge. haha!

Nasaan Ka Maaaan!!
i was so eager to watch this movie for two reasons: one, because the tv teasers looked so original and the story looked so interesting. Two, the hair raising scene of claudine...(well, literally hair raising) and I have to say, after watching it; it gave me more disappointment than contentment.
I mean, the story was obviously another "wannabe hollywood flick with twists and turns in the end" ala sixth sense and the others. Nothing special about it, I really still think filipino directors and writers have to come up with original storyline and plotting.
The cinematography was good, I can forgive that. They used Baguio as the setting, again to copy some "westernized impression" when watching a hollywood scary movie. So expect to see Claudine, jericho and diet, running around pine tree forests with their scarves and knitted coats on. However, the acting skills of the cast were quite convincing. Some extra kudos to Ms. Hilda Koronel for playing the role of a deaf sister. She was fantastic and hilarious at the same time.
Another funny scene was when diether ocampo tumbled down the cliff (supposedly a tragic and fatal scene) but instead, made the audience laugh. Why? the "tumbling down scene" was so long, the cliff was NOT steep at all, (it didn't even look precarious!) that diether's fall (or some stuntman's fall) looked like a playful polar bear rolling itself on a downhill slope. the fall was so unnatural, you can actually detect diether's acting effort in rolling himself to make it look like it was a big fall. It was so hilarious!!
Another disappointment is that the scene of claudines hair being pulled up in the air was cut. But i think the reason behind this, is that it has no relevance whatsoever with the story of the movie.
Also some parts of the movie were so dragging, i even got the chance to text mang fred! haha!
so overall rating? 3 stars!
oh and the rape scene was also compelling!

i wanna get fat!!
i just bought another costly bucket of weight gaining powder, after realizing that I lost a few pounds after I had that dreadful fever accompanied by some violent nose blowing and goo sniffing. Thanks to cookie who persuaded me to go inside that health store after eagerly inquiring about a weight losing green tea. I don't have any money, so I used my credit card (mother forgive me) and gladly purchased the product. I went home, took out the blender, and started mixing the powder with milk like a wicked witch and a couldron. As expected, it tasted terrible, and when I say terrible, I mean "puke your lungs out" terrible! Well, for the sake of getting fat, I'd do everything. Hahaha!
We also went to the pet store to buy a love nest for our lovebirds, and going there convinced me to buy a puppy, but then it began to bother me that as long as Dooling is around, I cant buy a new pet dog. We have so many pets in the house that its starting to look like a house of a discontented old maid.

Idol: Mariah
"she's that singer with a five-octave singing voice" people would understand it as the range of how her singing voice can actually shatter a crystal glass, but that's not always the point. Her voice is considered 5-octave, not only because of the screeching, almost bird-like notes, but also the fact that she can reach very low notes. Not all singers are capable of that, and that's one thing you have to consider before judging her against other singers. She's incomparable.
Her downside? Acting! Mariah should stop impelling herself to films coz she's simply not good. She's dull, she's overreacting, she's irritating in a movie screen! I mean, try to have a sneak on her movie Glitter, and see how everything was so amateur! from the acting to the story itself! ugh! I'm telling you; "Dude Where's My Car" would be a more logical movie to watch.
But I still love her. hehe! Minus the "too much touching her boobs", and "letting her locks fly" videos

rabbit food crisis!
im really feeling sick today but i still have the strength to frantically look for rabbit pellets for my furry pet. I was really worried because my rabbit haven't eaten for a day since it consumed all the rabbit food I just purchased last week. I went to bioresearch G4 yesterday only to find out that they ran out of their standard rabbit pellets and switched to an unidentifiable japanase brand, i have no choice but to buy it. The pellets look like "snaku", it was green and soft, they smell awful too, and as expected, my rabbit didn't like it, ignored it, and preferred to gnaw the wires in her cage instead! Bye bye 120 pesos for a stupid rabbit food! luckily, my saviour-mother was on her way to quiapo, so i called her up to buy some rabbit food in cartimar.. whew! for a moment there I thought my rabbit would eventually turn anorexic and then die as a rabbit skeleton!
